METAL FINISHING
Built for High Volume. Backed by 60+ Years of Precision.
We specialize in high-precision machined parts. If you require quality, you have found the right source. Lewis Engineering is dedicated to providing a quality product at a competitive price. This dedication is visible in the CNC turning centers, CNC machining centers, and automatic screw machines available for your job. These machine tools are supported with centerless grinders, broaching machines, and milling machines for auxiliary operations. Our capabilities permit the completion of complex parts with the least number of setups and a minimum amount of time, thus reducing costs.
CHROMATE FINISHING
Lewis Engineering applies clear and yellow zinc chromate coatings in-house to meet strict Mil-Spec requirements. This process improves corrosion resistance and conductivity for steel parts, making it ideal for aerospace, defense, and high-performance industrial applications where reliability is critical.
ZINC PHOSPHATE COATING
Zinc phosphate creates a strong, reliable base layer that improves paint adhesion and corrosion resistance on steel components. Applied to TT-C-490 requirements, it’s a cost-effective solution for parts that require post-finishing durability and long-term performance.
METAL PAINTING
Where outsourcing paint slows you down or leads to inconsistent finishes, Lewis Engineering keeps it in-house. Our team handles high-volume metal painting with custom-built automation for better coverage and faster turnaround. Every finish is salt spray tested on-site to ensure it holds up in the field.
SALT SPRAY TESTING
When corrosion resistance matters, salt spray testing gives you proof. Lewis Engineering performs in-house testing on painted and plated components to verify coating performance and ensure compliance with ASTM B117 and ISO 9227 standards. It’s how we help you avoid costly failures and meet the specs your industry demands.
